9:00AM-11:00PM | Outline
Instructor: Isabelle Perkins
Discuss the types of agency in Massachusetts. Review and understand appropriate times to provide required disclosures and obtain written consent for agency relationships. Agency relationships include designated buyer agency, designated seller agency, dual agency, and non-agency facilitation.
Discuss how brokerages may operate as traditional or designated agency offices. Traditional offices allow shared information through open sales meetings, while designated agency offices assign exclusive agents to each client, restrict information sharing, and require enhanced data security and documentation procedures.
