This course equips real estate professionals with the knowledge to create legally compliant and ethical advertisements across all platforms (print, online, email, text). You'll learn to avoid pitfalls such as blind ads, misleading language, and fair housing violations. Key topics include:
Legal Advertising Methods: Understanding and adhering to Massachusetts regulations (254 CMR 3.00) for various advertising channels, including print, online, social media, email, and text marketing. Proper use of MLS, websites, and billboards will be covered.
Ethical Advertising Practices: Crafting advertisements that accurately represent properties without steering or discriminatory language. Learn to avoid problematic wording and maintain client loyalty.
Fair Housing Compliance: Recognizing and preventing fair housing violations in advertising. Safeguarding against discriminatory practices in both written and visual content.
Broker Identification and Disclosures: Ensuring full and transparent disclosure of broker information in all advertising materials, including compliance for salespersons and teams.
Penalties for Non-Compliance: Understanding the legal ramifications of non-compliant advertising practices.

According to MA & NH Licensing Regulations, you must be present for the entire two hours to earn credit. Please log into the webinar early to ensure you are able to get in. This is an interactive class and your video must be on for the entire 2 hours. In order to remain your Massachusetts Real Estate License, you are required to take 12 hours of Continuing Education credits every 2 years.
