SENIORS REAL ESTATE SPECIALIST® (SRES) 

Designation Course

September 29th - October 1st

Virtual | 9am-1:30pm each day

$200 for NEAR Members through 9/12/25 

$225 for NEAR Members after 9/12/25 | $250 for Non-Members

Baby Boomers represent the largest and wealthiest group of homebuyers and sellers in the country. Understand what motivates this growing market and how to address their needs with the prestigious SRES® designation. 

This two-day training program offers real estate professionals the unique opportunity to learn and build key skills in counseling adults ages 50+ through selling their family home, buying rental property, and moving to a senior community, among many other issues. 

Seniors Real Estate Specialists® learn how to:
• Identify the power of generational demographics.
• Develop and maintain relationship marketing skills.
• Counsel rather than sell to seniors.
• Understand the implications of tax laws, probate and estate planning.

Complete this certification and you can also receive 2 Massachusetts continuing education credits: Leisure Homes, Second Homes & Age Restricted Housing (RE55R06)! Instructor: Isabelle Perkins

Designation Requirements
These three (3) requirements must be met to attain and use the SRES® Designation:
1. Successful completion of the two-day SRES® Designation Course.
2. Membership in good standing in the SRES® Council. New designees receive one year of membership free. Annual dues are $99 each year thereafter.
3. Maintain active membership status with the National Association of REALTORS®.

Please note, to receive CE Credit and credit through NAR for the accreditation, you must attend the full length of the course while visibly on camera. Additionally, there are no refunds after September 23rd.

According to MA Licensing Regulations, you must be present for the entire class to earn credit. Please log into the webinar early to ensure you are able to get in. NEAR recommends all attendees participate in the class on a computer or tablet, not a cell phone, to ensure an uninterrupted signal for the full time required to get credit. This is an interactive class and your video must be on for the entire class.

Cancellation policy: You will receive a full refund if you cancel by September 12th. A $20 cancellation fee applies for cancellations made by September 22nd. No refunds will be issued starting September 23rd.
