9:00 am: Residential Rentals - Landlord/Tenant Issues - Part 1
(MA: RE98R16/NH: E2197) This class for all agents who are landlords, property managers, or sell any investment property including a 2 unit house. Learn what is required from a landlord and/or an agent renting apartments, how to screen tenants, what can and can not be asked as well as lead paint laws, fair housing laws, radon, mold, asbestos, disclosure responsibilities, and more!

11:15 am: Residential Rental - Landlord/Tenant Issues - Part 2
(MA: RE99R16/NH: E2198) Students will understand exactly what happens once a landlord agrees to take on a tenant. Bookkeeping requirements and security deposit specifics are among the topics covered in this must-see lecture. The difference between a “tenant at will” contract, along with eviction process basics, are also discussed.

Light lunch of pizza and salad will be served.

1:30 pm: Title V & Septic Systems
(MA: RE22RC13/NH: E047) Learn the history of Title V laws, current rules and regulations, and required inspections. Find out what to do when a system fails as well as the life expectancies of septic systems and cost related to repair and replacement. Words like Tight Tank, Envirosystem Infiltrator, Fast system, Baffles, and D boxes will be understood.
