9:00 am: Architecture

After this class, you will know how to identify the differences between Post Medieval, Georgian, Federal, Greek Revival, Victorians, and Moderns. This class is packed with samples of hundreds of details and styles. This class will help you be more knowledgeable for your buyers and can help jazz up your listings!

11:15 am: Smart Growth, Smart Energy
(MA: RE59R09/NH: E1356) More and more Americans are seriously considering green construction and adding new energy-efficient upgrades—and determining that the cost is worth it. Increase your understanding of smart growth/smart energy tools and policies, as well as the various concepts included in the Massachusetts Smart Growth/Smart Energy initiative. Includes case studies from Lawrence, Lowell, Pelham, & more!

1:30 pm: The Wetlands Protection Act
(MA: RE23RC12/NH: E044) Discover the history of wetlands protection, laws, regulations, and liabilities. You will understand terms like buffer zone, vernal pool, oligio, Messo Eutro, also procedures for building in and near wetlands including lake water quality, issues such as mill foil, succi readings, etc. Don’t sell properties near wetlands, lakes, rivers without attending this class.
