Food Drive for the Merrimack Valley Food Bank

We need your help filling the shelves at Merrimack Valley Food Bank (MVFB) during the time of the year we receive the least amount of donations!

Since 2010, each May our Community Service Committee has worked to host a food drive to benefit the MVFB. Through their six hunger relief programs, the MVFB provides nutritious food to food pantries, shelters, soup kitchens, and other programs that serve individuals and families in 32 communities in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. 

Did you know: By this time each year, the food received by the MVFB from the many food drives throughout the holiday season is running out? Our annual food drive helps the MVFB and our neighbors in need get through the summer as we as the summer break for many children.

Here's How You Can Help:

• Start a collection box at your office and deliver items to one of the food drive locations (Market Basket on Old Ferry Road, Lowell or 6A Cornerstone Square, Westford) on Saturday, May 17th between 9 AM - 1 PM. Click here to view the Food Drive flyer.  
• Stop by one of the locations on May 17th and purchase your donations on-site. 
• Volunteer your time for a 2-hour shift (9 AM - 11 AM or 11 AM - 1PM) on May 17th at either location to help with collections (sign up here). 
• Make a monetary donation via our Fundraiser.
